Me in my thirties

Imagining my future is quite mind boggling. There's a seemingly endless array of things, I need to think of. The world is constantly changing and no one knows, to which direction. On the other hand, I have decided where to go. This is my approximation of, where I'll end up being, when I'm thirty years old.

Music has always been a big thing for me. It inspires me to go forward in life, towards new phases and new adventures, and through tough times. There's a high probability of me becoming a professional musician. I want to become a part-time guitar teacher, who does live shows with a blues band. We won't make any CD:s, because they'll be too old fashioned. In stead, we will make songs, which people can download for free. Then we'll get a lot of listeners, and most importantly, live audience. I'm also a generous spirit, so the gigs won't cost much more than arranging them costs for us. As, people will always love music, it makes a lot of sense to become a teaching and performing musician. Keeping the blues alive is also an important thing, I want to accomplish.

I won't live a rock n' roll lifestyle, because people already know that it isn't healthy. Instead I will be happily married with a lovely woman, named Laura. We will have a beautiful daughter, who we will name Rosa. We'll be a typical family of the era; a sober and non-smoking family. Health and sense will be fashionable. We'll live in a red apartment building in Helsinki, Finland. The main cities, even in Finland, will be so overpopulated, only the true elitists will own land and detached houses.

Since, the economical situation by then, has had it's ups and downs, I will try to be protected economically. I won't be a guy with only money in his mind. Instead I'll focus on, what's truly important for me and my family. By then everyone will know all about the climate change. It will also be a priority for me, to protect the globe from heating up. By living a modest lifestyle, I'll leave a much smaller carbon footprint, therefore I'll protect the younger generations. Hence, I won't be indulging my daughter too much, I can teach her the true value of work and money effectively. I'll try to make her intelligent and adaptable to the society, with the help of my wife, Laura.

So, there you go. My future in a nutshell. I hope everything really works this way. When I'll really be in my thirties, I can look back at this essay and reminisce my goals and my values now. I recommend writing an essay like this for everyone!
